Basın Bayramı Çatalca'da Coşkulu Bir Organizasyonla Kutlandı

Basın Platformu Başkanı Remzi Tanış ve Ekibinden Örnek Organizasyon

24 Temmuz Gazeteciler ve Basın Bayramı kapsamında, Basın Platformu Başkanı Remzi Tanış ve organizasyon ekibi tarafından 1 Ağustos 2026 Cumartesi günü Çatalca'da bulunan Çatal Mangal Bahçesi Piknik Alanı'nda geniş katılımlı bir kutlama programı düzenlendi.

Basın camiasını bir araya getiren etkinliğe; çok sayıda gazeteci, medya temsilcisi, siyasetçi, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının başkanları, sponsor iş insanları ve davetliler katıldı.

Gün boyunca birlik, beraberlik ve dayanışma mesajlarının öne çıktığı organizasyon, katılımcılardan tam not aldı.

Kusursuz Organizasyon Büyük Beğeni Topladı

Etkinliğin her aşamasında gösterilen özen ve misafirperverlik, davetlilerin takdirini kazandı. Katılımcılar, organizasyonun eksiksiz hazırlanmış olmasını memnuniyetle karşılarken, Basın Platformu Başkanı Remzi Tanış ve organizasyon ekibine teşekkür ederek övgüler yağdırdı.

Gerçekleştirilen protokol konuşmalarında, özgür ve tarafsız basının demokratik toplumların vazgeçilmez unsuru olduğu ifade edildi.

Konuşmacılar, doğru haberciliğin kamuoyunun sağlıklı bilgiye ulaşmasındaki kritik rolüne dikkat çekerek, basın emekçilerinin toplum adına büyük bir sorumluluk üstlendiğini belirttiler.

Hizmet Eden İsimlere Plaket Takdim Edildi

Program kapsamında, hizmetleri geçen önemli katkılar sağlayan isimlere teşekkür amacıyla plaketler takdim edildi.

Duygusal anların yaşandığı konuşmalarda  mesleğine gönül veren basın alkışlarla onurlandırıldı.

Canlı Müzik ve Dostluk Sofrasında Unutulmaz Anlar

Resmî programın ardından davetliler hep birlikte öğle yemeğinde buluştu.

Samimi sohbetlerin yapıldığı etkinlikte canlı müzik dinletisi eşliğinde davetliler keyifli vakit geçirirken, meslektaşlar uzun süre sonra yeniden bir araya gelmenin mutluluğunu yaşadı.

Elazığ Türküleri Programa Renk Kattı

Etkinliğin en beğenilen bölümlerinden biri ise Beylikdüzü Elazığ Kültür ve Dayanışma Derneği Başkanı Feyzi Özcan ile sanatçı Sedat Çimen tarafından seslendirilen Elazığ yöresine ait türküler oldu.

Özellikle Harput musikisinin unutulmaz eserleri, mayalar ve uzun havalar davetliler tarafından büyük ilgiyle dinlenirken, zaman zaman katılımcılar da türkülere eşlik etti. Elazığ kültürünü yansıtan bu özel dinleti programa ayrı bir renk ve anlam kattı.

İş Dünyasından Basına Güçlü Destek Mesajı

Program sırasında gerçekleştirdiğimiz söyleşide, Türkiye Sanayici İş İnsanları Platformu Başkanı İsmail Aktaş ile iş insanı Sabahattin Karakoç, basının toplumdaki vazgeçilmez rolüne dikkat çekti.

Yaptıkları değerlendirmelerde; güçlü demokrasinin güçlü basınla mümkün olacağını doğru ve tarafsız haberciliğin hem toplum hem de ekonomi açısından büyük önem taşıdığını ifade ettiler.

Dayanışma ve Birlik Mesajları Ön Plandaydı

Etkinlik boyunca gazeteciler, iş insanları, sivil toplum temsilcileri ve siyasetçiler aynı ortamda buluşarak fikir alışverişinde bulundu.

Katılımcılar, bu tür organizasyonların meslektaşlar arasındaki dayanışmayı güçlendirdiğini, toplumsal birlik ve beraberliğe katkı sunduğunu belirterek organizasyonun geleneksel hale getirilmesi temennisinde bulundu.

24 Temmuz Gazeteciler ve Basın Bayramı'nın Önemi

24 Temmuz 1908 tarihi, Türk basın tarihinde bir dönüm noktası olarak kabul edilir.

II. Meşrutiyet'in ilanıyla birlikte gazeteler, devlet sansür memurlarının denetimine sunulmadan yayımlanmaya başlanmış ve böylece Osmanlı Devleti'nde basın üzerindeki resmî sansür uygulaması sona ermiştir.

Bu nedenle 24 Temmuz, uzun yıllardır Türkiye'de "Gazeteciler ve Basın Bayramı" olarak kutlanmaktadır.

Basın Bayramı'nın temel amacı;

Basın özgürlüğünün önemini hatırlatmak,

Gazetecilerin toplum adına üstlendiği sorumluluğu vurgulamak,

Kamuoyunun doğru ve tarafsız bilgi alma hakkını savunmak,

Basın emekçilerine teşekkür etmek,

Meslek dayanışmasını güçlendirmektir.

Günümüzde teknolojinin hızla gelişmesiyle birlikte gazetecilik yalnızca gazete ve televizyonla sınırlı kalmayıp dijital medya, internet haberciliği ve sosyal medya platformlarında da kamuoyunu bilgilendirmeye devam etmektedir.

An Exemplary Organization by Press Platform President Remzi Tanış and His Team

As part of the 24 July Journalists and Press Day, a large-scale celebration program was organized on 1 August 2026 at the Çatal Mangal Garden Picnic Area in Çatalca by Press Platform President Remzi Tanış and his organizing team.

The event brought together members of the press, media representatives, political figures, NGO leaders, sponsoring businesspeople, and numerous invited guests. Throughout the day, messages of unity, solidarity, and cooperation were emphasized, and the event received widespread appreciation from participants.

Traditional Elazığ Folk Songs Added a Special Touch

One of the highlights of the event was the performance by Feyzi Özcan, President of the Beylikdüzü Elazığ Culture and Solidarity Association, together with renowned artist Sedat Çimen.

Traditional folk songs from the Elazığ region, especially the unforgettable melodies of Harput music, including Maya and Uzun Hava performances, received enthusiastic applause. Many guests joined in, creating unforgettable moments that reflected the rich cultural heritage of Elazığ.

Strong Support for the Press from the Business Community

During an interview held at the event, İsmail Aktaş, President of the Turkey Industrialists and Businesspeople Platform, and businessman Sabahattin Karakoç highlighted the indispensable role of the press in society.

The Significance of July 24 – Journalists and Press Day

24 July 1908 marks a historic milestone in Turkish press history.

Following the proclamation of the Second Constitutional Era, newspapers began to be published without prior government censorship, bringing an end to official press censorship in the Ottoman Empire.

For this reason, 24 July has long been celebrated in Türkiye as Journalists and Press Day.

The primary objectives of this special day are:

To emphasize the importance of press freedom.

To recognize the responsibility undertaken by journalists on behalf of society.

To defend the public's right to receive accurate and impartial information.

To honor members of the press for their dedicated service.

To strengthen solidarity within the journalism profession.

Doğu Karadeniz programı kapsamında Giresun, Ordu, Trabzon ve Rize'de saha çalışmaları gerçekleştireceklerini belirten Özdağ, ekonomik sorunların çözümünün üretim odaklı kalkınma, güçlü hukuk devleti ve planlı ekonomi anlayışından geçtiğini ifade etti.

"Ekonomik Buhranın Çözümü Zafer Partisi'nin Programında Var"

Konuşmasının önemli bölümünü ekonomiye ayıran Özdağ, Türkiye'nin uzun süredir derinleşen ekonomik sıkıntılar yaşadığını belirterek, hükümetin üretici, sanayici, esnaf, çiftçi ve emeklilerin sorunlarına yönelik kapsamlı bir ekonomik program ortaya koyamadığını savundu.

Özdağ, Zafer Partisi'nin ekonomi programının; üretimi artıran, sanayiyi güçlendiren, tarımı yeniden ayağa kaldıran, yatırım ve istihdamı destekleyen, planlı kalkınmayı esas alan bir model üzerine kurulduğunu söyledi. Hukuk devleti ilkelerinin ekonomik güven açısından vazgeçilmez olduğuna dikkat çeken Özdağ, yatırım ortamının güçlenmesi için hukuk güvenliğinin yeniden tesis edilmesi gerektiğini dile getirdi.

Basın toplantısında değerlendirmelerde bulunan Özdağ, "Türkiye hukuktan uzaklaştıkça ekonomik buhran derinleşiyor." ifadelerini kullanarak ekonomik istikrarın yalnızca mali tedbirlerle değil, hukuk sistemine duyulan güvenle mümkün olacağını savundu.

Özdağ, yatırımcı güveninin yeniden oluşturulmasının, üretim ekonomisinin desteklenmesinin ve sanayi politikalarının uzun vadeli planlamayla yürütülmesinin Türkiye açısından kritik önem taşıdığını ifade etti.

Planlı Ekonomi ve Üretim Vurgusu

Zafer Partisi Genel Başkanı, Türkiye'nin yeniden üretim gücünü artırması gerektiğini belirterek sanayi, tarım ve teknoloji yatırımlarının planlı biçimde desteklenmesini önerdi.

Tarım sektörünün planlama eksikliği nedeniyle rekabet gücünün zayıfladığını savunan Özdağ, Zafer Partisi'nin tarım politikalarının çiftçiyi merkeze alan yeni bir kalkınma modeli içerdiğini belirtti.

Erken Seçim Değerlendirmesi

Basın mensuplarının erken seçime ilişkin sorusunu da yanıtlayan Özdağ, seçim takviminin Cumhurbaşkanı tarafından belirleneceğini ifade ederken, mevcut siyasi tabloya ilişkin değerlendirmelerde bulundu.

Devoting a significant part of his speech to the economy, Özdağ pointed out that Turkey has been experiencing deepening economic troubles for a long time and argued that the government has failed to present a comprehensive economic program addressing the problems of producers, industrialists, tradesmen, farmers, and retirees.

Özdağ stated that the Zafer Party's economic program is built on a model that increases production, strengthens industry, revitalizes agriculture, supports investment and employment, and is based on planned development. Emphasizing that the principles of the rule of law are indispensable for economic confidence, Özdağ expressed that legal security must be re-established to strengthen the investment climate.

"Economic Confidence Cannot Be Achieved Without a Strong Rule of Law"

Evaluating the current situation at the press conference, Özdağ used the phrase, "As Turkey moves away from the rule of law, the economic crisis deepens," arguing that economic stability is possible not only through financial measures but also through trust in the legal system.

Özdağ stated that rebuilding investor confidence, supporting the production economy, and carrying out industrial policies with long-term planning are of critical importance for Turkey.

Emphasis on Planned Economy and Production

The Zafer Party Leader emphasized that Turkey must increase its production capacity and proposed that industrial, agricultural, and technology investments be supported in a planned manner.

Responding to journalists' questions about early elections, Özdağ stated that the election calendar will be determined by the President while sharing his assessments of the current political landscape.

Özdağ expressed his view that the AK Party is going through its weakest period and shared his evaluations regarding various poll results. These statements were shared with the public as Özdağ's political assessments.

"Traveling Across Turkey from One End to the Other"

As part of his Eastern Black Sea visits, Ümit Özdağ came together with citizens, tradesmen, producers, and non-governmental organizations in Giresun, Ordu, Trabzon, and Rize. It was stated that his field work continues across Turkey.

Zafer Party officials stated that Özdağ is establishing direct contact with citizens all over Turkey, listening to their problems on-site, sharing solution proposals with the public, and continuing to explain the party's program.

Message of Solution in Economy

The Zafer Party advocates that Turkey's economic problems can be solved through production-oriented growth, planned development, a strong rule of law, industrialization, increased agricultural production, and national economic policies. Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi Projesine Cumhurbaşkanı Desteği

DMW Uluslararası Diplomatlar Birliği’nin Vizyonu Türkiye’yi Küresel Bir Merkeze Taşıyor

Dünyada engelli bireylerin haklarının korunması, sosyal yaşama tam ve eşit katılımının sağlanması ve uluslararası farkındalığın artırılması adına atılacak en önemli adımlardan biri olarak gösterilen Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi Projesi için tarihi bir süreç başladı.

İstanbul Boğazı’nda kurulması planlanan Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi, yalnızca Türkiye için değil, dünya engelli politikaları açısından da örnek gösterilecek bir uluslararası merkez olma özelliği taşıyor.

Projenin hayata geçmesiyle birlikte İstanbul, engelli hakları, erişilebilirlik, eğitim, sosyal kalkınma ve uluslararası iş birliği alanlarında küresel ölçekte önemli bir diplomasi merkezi haline gelecek.

Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’dan Destek

DMW Uluslararası Diplomatlar Birliği Başkanı ve iş insanı Halil Sert, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın grup toplantısına katılarak yürütülen çalışmalar hakkında bilgi verdi.

Gerçekleşen görüşmede Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’ın, DMW Uluslararası Diplomatlar Birliği tarafından yürütülen çalışmaları takdir ettiği ve projeye yönelik olumlu yaklaşım sergilediği ifade edildi.

Halil Sert yaptığı değerlendirmede, Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi'nin Cumhurbaşkanı'nın desteğiyle İstanbul’da hayata geçirilmesi için çalışmaların hızlandırılacağını belirterek şu mesajı verdi:

"Türkiye, engelli bireylerin haklarının korunması ve geliştirilmesi konusunda dünyanın örnek aldığı ülkelerden biri olmaya devam edecektir. İstanbul’da kurulacak Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi, insanlık adına çok büyük bir kazanım olacaktır."

Senatör Serkan Bayram’ın Öncülüğünde Hayata Geçecek

DMW Uluslararası Diplomatlar Birliği’nin güçlü desteği ve Senatör Serkan Bayram’ın öncülüğünde yürütülen proje, engelli bireylerin uluslararası platformlarda daha güçlü temsil edilmesini amaçlıyor.

Kurulacak merkezin; uluslararası konferanslara, eğitim programlarına, sosyal projelere ve engelli hakları alanındaki küresel çalışmalara ev sahipliği yapması hedefleniyor.

Aynı zamanda merkezin, farklı ülkelerden uzmanları, diplomatları ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarını İstanbul’da buluşturarak yeni iş birliklerinin önünü açacağı belirtiliyor.

Sert, “İstanbul’un kalbinde kurulacak Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi, milyonlarca engelli bireyin sesi olacak. Bu proje, eşitlik, erişilebilirlik ve insan onuruna verilen değerin somut bir göstergesi olacaktır. Cumhurbaşkanımızın desteğiyle bu hayalin gerçeğe dönüşeceğine inanıyoruz” dedi.

Türkiye Küresel Bir Merkez Olmaya Hazırlanıyor

Dünya diplomasisinde etkinliği her geçen gün artan Türkiye, bu projeyle birlikte yalnızca siyasi ve ekonomik alanda değil, sosyal sorumluluk ve insan hakları alanlarında da öncü ülkeler arasındaki yerini daha da güçlendirmeyi hedefliyor.

DMW Uluslararası Diplomatlar Birliği’nin öncülüğünde yürütülen bu tarihi girişim, İstanbul’u engelli hakları konusunda dünyanın en önemli buluşma noktalarından biri haline getirecek ve Türkiye’nin uluslararası itibarı açısından yeni bir dönemin kapılarını aralayacak.

İstanbul Boğazı’nda yükselecek Birleşmiş Milletler Engelliler Merkezi, yalnızca bir bina değil; umut, eşitlik, erişilebilirlik ve insanlık vicdanının sembolü olacak.

DMW International Diplomatic Union’s Vision Positions Türkiye as a Global Hub

A historic process has begun for the United Nations Disability Center Project, regarded as one of the most significant initiatives aimed at protecting the rights of persons with disabilities, ensuring their full and equal participation in society, and increasing global awareness on disability issues.

The United Nations Disability Center, planned to be established on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, is set to become not only a landmark project for Türkiye but also a model international institution in the field of global disability policies.

Once completed, the project will transform Istanbul into a major international center for diplomacy, disability rights, accessibility, education, social development, and international cooperation.

Support from President Erdoğan

Halil Sert, President of the DMW International Diplomatic Union and a prominent businessman, attended President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s parliamentary group meeting and provided information about the ongoing initiatives.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan reportedly expressed his appreciation for the work carried out by the DMW International Diplomatic Union and demonstrated a positive approach toward the project.

In his statement, Halil Sert emphasized that efforts to establish the United Nations Disability Center in Istanbul would be accelerated with the support of the President, saying:

"Türkiye will continue to be among the countries that set an example for the world in protecting and advancing the rights of persons with disabilities. The United Nations Disability Center to be established in Istanbul will be a tremendous achievement for humanity."

To Be Realized Under the Leadership of Senator Serkan Bayram

Supported strongly by the DMW International Diplomatic Union and led by Senator Serkan Bayram, the project aims to strengthen the representation of persons with disabilities on international platforms.

The center is expected to host international conferences, educational programs, social initiatives, and global projects focused on disability rights.

It is also envisioned as a meeting point where experts, diplomats, and civil society organizations from around the world can come together in Istanbul, fostering new partnerships and international cooperation.

Halil Sert, President of the DMW International Diplomatic Union, stressed that the initiative should not be viewed merely as an investment or institutional project, but as a responsibility undertaken for the benefit of humanity.

Sert stated:

"The United Nations Disability Center to be established in the heart of Istanbul will become the voice of millions of persons with disabilities. This project will stand as a concrete symbol of equality, accessibility, and respect for human dignity. With the support of our President, we believe this vision will become a reality."

Bir Küçük Anadolu Hikâyesi" Sapanca'da Yazıldı: Gastronomi Turizmi Derneği'nden Unutulmaz Buluşma

Gastronomi Turizmi Derneği (GTD) tarafından 22 Haziran 2026 tarihinde Sapanca’da gerçekleştirilen “Türk Mutfağı, Uzun Yaşam ve Sağlıklı Beslenme” etkinliği, gastronomi, turizm ve sağlık dünyasının önemli isimlerini bir araya getirdi. Program kapsamında gerçekleştirilen buluşmalar, yeni projelerin ve iş birliklerinin konuşulduğu verimli bir networking ortamına dönüştü.

Mühür Restoran’da “Bir Küçük Anadolu Hikâyesi”

Program öncesinde GTD üyeleri ve GTD Basın Konseyi üyeleri, Sapanca’nın dikkat çeken gastronomi duraklarından biri olan Mühür Restoran’da ağırlandı.

Kapısındaki “Bir Küçük Anadolu Hikâyesi” yazısının adeta tabaklara yansıdığı restoranda, Anadolu’nun yedi bölgesinden seçilen ürünlerle hazırlanan özel menü konuklara sunuldu.

Şef Yusuf İşkan’ın hazırladığı lezzetler arasında yer alan dolmalar, taş fırından çıkan pideler, lokum kıvamındaki bonfileli alinazik, geleneksel kuru fasulye ve yöresel reçeteler büyük beğeni topladı. Katılımcılar, Anadolu mutfağının zenginliğinin modern sunumlarla buluştuğu sofrada unutulmaz bir gastronomi deneyimi yaşadı.

GTD Başkanı Gürkan Boztepe’den Anlamlı Rozet Takdimi

Gastronomi Turizmi Derneği Başkanı Gürkan Boztepe, Türk mutfağının tanıtımına sunduğu katkılar nedeniyle Şef Yusuf İşkan’a GTD üyelik rozetini takdim etti.

Türkiye’de gastronomi turizminin gelişmesi için uzun yıllardır çalışan Boztepe’nin, yerel lezzetlerin ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde tanıtılması konusunda önemli projelere imza attığı biliniyor. Son dönemde katıldığı panel ve etkinliklerde Türk mutfağının kültürel değer olarak korunmasına yönelik çalışmalarıyla dikkat çekiyor.

Boztepe, gastronominin yalnızca yemek değil, aynı zamanda kültür, turizm ve ekonomi olduğunu vurgulayarak, Anadolu’nun köklü mutfak mirasının gelecek nesillere aktarılmasının önemine dikkat çekti.

Şef Hüseyin Şipal: “Şefler Kültürel Elçilerdir”

Etkinlikte konuşan GTD Türk Mutfağı Danışman Şefi Hüseyin Şipal, Şef Yusuf İşkan’ın Türk mutfağına olan bağlılığını ve Anadolu lezzetlerini yaşatma konusundaki çabasını anlattı.

Şipal, Türk mutfağının dünya çapında tanıtımında şeflerin üstlendiği rolün çok değerli olduğunu belirterek, yerel reçeteleri koruyan ve gelecek kuşaklara aktaran şeflerin adeta kültürel elçiler olduğunu ifade etti.

Dut Tatlısı Gecenin Yıldızı Oldu

Etkinlikte dikkat çeken lezzetlerden biri de Kırıkkale’nin Yahşihan ilçesine özgü dut tatlısı oldu.

GTD Türk Mutfağı Danışman Şefi Hüseyin Şipal ile ödüllü şef Cansu Paça tarafından hazırlanan tatlı, katılımcılardan tam not aldı.

Kurutulmuş dut, üzüm pekmezi ve dövülmüş cevizin kusursuz uyumuyla hazırlanan bu geleneksel tatlı; Anadolu’nun yokluk zamanlarında geliştirilen yaratıcı mutfak kültürünün yaşayan örneklerinden biri olarak büyük ilgi gördü.

Şipal’in etkinlikte dile getirdiği “Yemek yediğimizde yaşayan organizmaları besleriz” sözü ise sağlıklı beslenme ve geleneksel mutfak arasındaki güçlü ilişkiyi özetleyen ifadelerden biri oldu.

Dedeman Vıllage Sapanca’da Yöresel Lezzetler Buluşması

Günün devamında katılımcılar, Dedeman Village Sapanca’da düzenlenen özel akşam yemeğinde bir araya geldi.

Adapazarı ve çevresine özgü yöresel lezzetlerin tanıtıldığı programda gastronomi turizminin bölgesel kalkınmaya sağladığı katkılar değerlendirildi. Katılımcılar daha sonra gerçekleştirilen alan gezisinde bölgedeki turizm yatırımlarını yerinde inceleme fırsatı buldu.

Mesut Gence’ye Plaket Takdimi

Program kapsamında turizm ve gastronomi alanındaki katkılarından dolayı Mesut Gence’ye plaket takdim edildi.

Katılımcılar, Sapanca’nın sahip olduğu doğal güzelliklerin yanı sıra gastronomik potansiyelinin de her geçen gün daha fazla ön plana çıktığını belirterek, bu tür organizasyonların bölgenin tanıtımına önemli katkılar sunduğunu ifade etti.

Sapanca’dan Türk Mutfağına Güçlü Mesaj

Gastronomi Turizmi Derneği’nin Sapanca buluşması, Türk mutfağının yalnızca bir yemek kültürü değil; sağlık, sürdürülebilirlik, turizm ve kültürel mirasın önemli bir parçası olduğunu bir kez daha ortaya koydu.

Başkan Gürkan Boztepe’nin liderliğinde gerçekleştirilen etkinlik, Anadolu’nun köklü lezzetlerini geleceğe taşıma hedefi doğrultusunda önemli bir organizasyon olarak hafızalarda yer etti. Şef Yusuf İşkan’ın Anadolu ruhunu tabaklarına taşıyan yorumları, Hüseyin Şipal’in gastronomi vizyonu ve Cansu Paça’nın geleneksel tatları yeniden yorumlayan çalışmaları ise katılımcıların takdirini kazandı.

"A Little Anatolian Story" Was Written in Sapanca: An Unforgettable Gathering from the Gastronomy Tourism Association

The "Turkish Cuisine, Longevity and Healthy Nutrition" event organized by the Gastronomy Tourism Association (GTD) on June 22, 2026, in Sapanca brought together important names from the worlds of gastronomy, tourism, and health. The meetings held within the scope of the program turned into a productive networking environment where new projects and collaborations were discussed.

"A Little Anatolian Story" at Mühür Restaurant

Prior to the program, GTD members and GTD Press Council members were hosted at Mühür Restaurant, one of Sapanca's noteworthy gastronomy destinations.

At the restaurant, where the phrase "A Little Anatolian Story" written at its entrance was reflected on the plates, a special menu prepared with products selected from all seven regions of Anatolia was served to the guests.

Among the flavors prepared by Chef Yusuf İşkan, stuffed dishes, stone-oven baked pide, Alinazik with tenderloin at the consistency of Turkish delight, traditional dried beans, and local recipes received great appreciation. Participants experienced an unforgettable gastronomic journey at the table where the richness of Anatolian cuisine met modern presentations.

Meaningful Badge Presentation from GTD President Gürkan Boztepe

Gastronomy Tourism Association President Gürkan Boztepe presented the GTD membership badge to Chef Yusuf İşkan for his contributions to the promotion of Turkish cuisine.

Boztepe, who has been working for the development of gastronomy tourism in Turkey for many years, is known for signing important projects regarding the promotion of local flavors at national and international levels. In recent panels and events he has attended, he has drawn attention with his efforts to preserve Turkish cuisine as a cultural value.

Boztepe emphasized that gastronomy is not just about food, but also culture, tourism, and economy, highlighting the importance of passing Anatolia's deep-rooted culinary heritage to future generations.

Chef Hüseyin Şipal: "Chefs Are Cultural Ambassadors"

Speaking at the event, GTD Turkish Cuisine Advisory Chef Hüseyin Şipal shared Chef Yusuf İşkan's dedication to Turkish cuisine and his efforts to keep Anatolian flavors alive.

Şipal stated that the role chefs undertake in promoting Turkish cuisine worldwide is invaluable, expressing that chefs who preserve local recipes and pass them on to future generations are essentially cultural ambassadors.

Dried Mulberry Dessert Became the Star of the Evening

One of the flavors that drew attention at the event was the mulberry dessert unique to the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale.

Prepared by GTD Turkish Cuisine Advisory Chef Hüseyin Şipal and award-winning chef Cansu Paça, the dessert received full marks from participants.

This traditional dessert, prepared with the perfect harmony of dried mulberries, grape molasses, and crushed walnuts, attracted great interest as one of the living examples of the creative culinary culture developed in Anatolia during times of scarcity.

Şipal's words during the event, "When we eat, we nourish living organisms," became one of the statements summarizing the strong connection between healthy nutrition and traditional cuisine.

Local Flavors Gathering at Dedeman Village Sapanca

Later in the day, participants came together at a special dinner organized at Dedeman Village Sapanca.

During the program where local flavors unique to Adapazarı and its surroundings were introduced, the contributions of gastronomy tourism to regional development were evaluated. Participants then had the opportunity to examine tourism investments in the region during a site visit.

Plaque Presentation to Mesut Gence

Within the scope of the program, a plaque was presented to Mesut Gence for his contributions to the fields of tourism and gastronomy.

Participants stated that in addition to Sapanca's natural beauties, its gastronomic potential is coming to the forefront more each day, expressing that such organizations make significant contributions to the promotion of the region.

The Gastronomy Tourism Association's gathering in Sapanca once again demonstrated that Turkish cuisine is not just a food culture, but an important part of health, sustainability, tourism, and cultural heritage.
